Nina Lee stepped into the Penthouse spotlight in January 1984 as a featured model at just 20. With a 34-23-33 figure, hazel eyes and brown hair, Nina had a look that fit naturally into Penthouse's 1980s style of polished glamour.
Before Rochelle Swanson became a familiar face in low-budget thrillers, television dramas, and late-night cable, she had already stepped into Penthouse under another name. In January 1984, posing as Nina Lee, she appeared in the magazine with the kind of polished, slightly dangerous glamour that defined the period. The photographs soon became more than a modeling credit: they collided directly with her public life when Swanson, then known as Rhoda Swanson, relinquished her Miss San Diego title after the nude images came to light.
